July 4, 2007 7am at McDo Greenbelt - Everybody's excited eventhough we're all sleepy. This is our meeting place. We're going to Villa Escudero yipee!!!!!
We left at around 9am coz we waited for Dale....super enjoy on our way there. Lots of laughter and chit-chat. The term "lolo" was given a different meaning hehe ask Ralph what does it mean. The term "Baul" became "Ataol" hehe. No dull moments until we reached the place. After we checked-in, we rode a carriage drawn by a carabao named "mahinhin".
Lunch at the waterfalls. Grabe, the place is sooo cool! The food is also great! Busog to the max! hehehe... We had inihaw na liempo, inihaw na tilapia, inihaw na manok, caldereta, ensaladang mangga with bagoong, ginataang sitaw at kalabasa, pancit canton and desserts such as sago with gata and camote que.
1st activity Bamboo Rafting. Ralph and I were trapped. We can't move out of one area. Then the rain fell. Good thing we were able to move out of that corner and tried our best to go back to the port. Waaaaaaaaa....... The rain fell so hard and the wind blows so much. Good thing we didn't fell on the bamboo raft. Since we're all wet already, we took the liberty of enjoying the waterfalls.
After the rain stopped pouring, we went bamboo rafting again. This time we had a great time and enjoyed the ride hehehe.
After a sumptuous dinner, we played billiards, table tennis and darts. Then went back to our cottage and sing our hearts out while Ralph played the guitar. It's called "harana". Uso pa ba ang harana? hehehe
We enjoyed the night with full of laughter and songs. Until our neighbor knocked on our door and asked us to keep quiet hehehe.
July 5, 2007 8am Villa Escudero plantation area. We went biking around the area for an hour. Our butt ached and we didn't like our smell anymore hehehe.
We were supposed to vacate the cottage by 10am. However, were not able to do so because some of us were not yet taking a bath hehehe. It's almost 12nn when we left the cottage and went to the museum. On our way back to Manila, lahat tulog! hehehe.
It was really a wonderful experience being with a set of happy people. Ang babaw nga ng mga pinagtatawanan namin eh but we really had fun. Next time Palawan naman :)
